Birds, and the fact that you are useless.

I like birds.
I also like the fact that most people have nothing to do with what's really going on here. Sometimes I think that we're all part of some huge purpose, but now is not one of those times. I am convinced that most of you are just filler. You are here to take up space so that those of us that God really isn't all that fond of can get things done. What things? O, you wish you knew. The terrible and crazy things that are going on. You might be a part of it. Does your life obey the laws of cause-and-effect? For example, if you drop something, it falls, if you pick something up, it gets picked up, if you chew gum, the gum gets chewed, if you break something, it's broken, if you take something, you have it, if you open a door, you can walk through it? If so, then you're way out of the loop. If your life is goverened by all those silly laws of "physics," then you're really just an extra, a static character, in this incredibly epic world. You may know real people, but you are not one. It can, at times, be difficult to figure out if you're important or not. First, try to accept the fact that you are probably absolutely nothing. Then, live out your life carefully observing God's reactions to what you say and do. Watch him closely.
Back on topic: I really do like birds. I think we're all capable of liking birds, regardless of our cosmic importance, and that's nice. It's comforting to know that all those meaningless people in the world are still capable of doing things like liking birds.
